| i noticed it the day before i installed the lift but i couldn't find the origin and it seamed to stop so i didnt worry about it. now it made another dribble on my garage floor almost a week later. what exactly is leaking and spraying gunk all over my fuel tank? all i can see wet is the little pin hole, and more importantly how do i fix it. | |

| I'd like to know what's leaking for future reference. Surely we have someone with some ideals? Is that where it is leaking from, if not, maybe it's rear diff fluid, or possibly TC fluid. I really have absolutely no ideal, but thought I'd take a stab at it. | |

| I'm not exactly sure, the only things that are excessivly wet is the corner of the gas tank and the filler hoses for the tank. At first I thought I must have run over something because I couldn't find a source. The only part of the drivetrain that is wet is around the little hole. There is another one 180deg from that one. The oil looks like its slung, I pulled the diff plug and the fuild was full. The oil on the garage floor looks dark but is a light oil, not motor oil. Idk, I cleaned everything up and the gas tank was coated again like in the pic. | |

Just curious, auto or stick? Does it appear to be tranny fluid, (mabe dirty trans fluid), again just another stab. Oh yeah, half doors lucky, lucky dog! | |

| dammit i loaded pics this morning but i guess they didn't save. i've smelt/tasted/ and had in my eyes most of all the fluids but this one isn't strong. i cant get a smell from it. on my garage floor it's the color of fairly new motor oil but is lighter in texture. i think its gear oil but i can't find the damn leak! nothing that rotates is wet except the small pin hole but even it is only slightly wet, nothing like the tank or anything else in the spraying arch here are the pics i tried to load this morning | |
