| I've had a 97tj, 00tj, 06 tj Rubi and now an 07 Rubi and have wheeled with X's and Saharas that did just fine on trails based on their fair amount of wheeling experience (and or) a good spotter. Honestly someone with a non-rubi and a fair amount of experience can do just as good as someone with a rubi. I optioned for the rubi based on a good deal. | |

| I have no regrets getting a Rubi. Do I really need it? not really, I am sure that my old Sahara could follow me up must places.
The hill in mention earlier to more, and I quote, "drive it like you stole it" attitude, but to get over the top hump on the hill, lockers were necessary. Without, you would risk some expensive damage.
Guess it all comes down to budget and what you are willing to pay. | |
