Ah Fawk!

Well, I seen Jody's new bling today...coming together nicely, to no surprise

Got me thinkin/wishin/contemplatin...so when I got home, I started pricing out my build

I'm tired, its getting late (for me), I go to bed around 11:30'ish. Talk to Brandi a little, mainly about our house which is in the process of being built, basically say goodnights




....and then, poof out of freak'n nowhere I hear this (shortl story version)

"I want to be pregrant by the end of the year, good night"

nite, uh what wait say again


Truth be told yes we're getting older (both be 36 this year)...we talked about about kids...but that was talk, this is for real now


Its now what after 2AM and I'm still up (while she up there probably dreaming about baby) I've got all these thought and trying to figure out how to juggle jeep exp's/new house exp's/baby exp's....not to mention the fear of having to actaully provide/care/guide/etc for a lil one

I like children and get along with the lil ones just fine, I really like the fact that I get to give'm back...but this one I can't

yeah i don't understand why women always like to drop sentences like that right as you are about to go to sleep. we have been putting having little ones off for years and everyone tells us your never ready for kids but i think the reason we have been putting it off was so that mentally we were prepared to make the sacrifices we will need to and stop being selfish children ourselves, now we are ready. from what i know you you and brandi, you both have good heads on your shoulders and would do good parents. and just remember the end of the year is along way away.

The sooner you have kids, the sooner you can train them to go fetch a beer, tool, remote, or anything you forgot upstairs. Driving with doors off and a baby seat right next to that is a way to get some great looks from people.

Maybe she just meant she wanted to practice makin a baby right then and you're reading way to much into it ...lol seriously, kids are great, when our last one was born I was 34 and wife was 32, we are glad we didn't wait any longer.
