Anyone ever use the powered hoist a top? Any comments good/bad?

I am determined to make enough room in my garage to be able to back in there and lift the top off. It is my mission to get that hardtop off for the summer! Gotta do it!

Don't even tell me to build one- anytime I attempt to build anything I ultimately end up spending more money than it would cost to have just bought the damn thing in the first place lol!

And don't tell me to have Redneck build something- that boy has way too many projects already

Oh- just wanted to use this emoticon in a post- I love this guy -> :explosive:

4 motorcycle tie down and a 2x4 are all thats needed.

First two simply loop under the front portion that goes over the back seat.
Rear two hang from the roof straight down and connect to the 2x4.

Works great and cost all of $15.

But by only spending $15 on it you have extra money for Jeep goodies.

I'm glad I didn't spend any more on it as I ultimately decided to sell my hard top since I wasn't using it. The Jeep is not my daily driver so it sits in the garage with no doors or top waiting for a beautiful day anyways. I can always through the soft top and hard doors back for a wheeling trip in foul weather.
