| To help Potlickinpirate get over his hangover, Ray graciously offered Randy the chance to install his suspension lift the day after his Bigler Bash. Here's a few photos. Ray will have to post up the post install photos since I forgot to take pics after we were done. Before Ray getting after it Randy acting busy | |

| The install would have been a snap but we soon discovered the differences between the suspension kits for early TJ's vs. the later model TJ's. However, with a little redneck ingenuity, it all came together fine. | |

| I think Randy got most of the pics. My camera skills are lacking. I gotta stop by Randy's tomorrow afternoon cause I didn't tighten that shock bolt tight enough. I can say that my tires are not rubbing Now to upgrade them. | |

| One difference I remember was the transmission/tcase drops. The later TJ's have metric threads in the frame whereas the earlier models were standard.
I'm trying to remember what else but it's all a blur right now.

Did you get adjustable track bars or brackets? Looks like you have the backspacing. Just watch the clearance when you install the bigger tires. If you didn't get track bars or brackets I would get them. My 2 cents. Mike and Mike might agree???? Lookin forward to the pics!!!!!!!!

| He has an adjustable track bar up front and the rear has a new bracket. We kept his Rubicon Express shocks as they had the same amount of travel as the Procomp shocks. | |

| Yeah all I am missing is the shifter bracket. I will be ordering it and a drop pitman arm with the next paycheck. My first mod when I bought the jeep was get those rims and I made sure to get the backspacing for 33s. | |

| I love the tires!!!! Except for the damn waiting cause I had to special order them On the road they feel good. It is a little loud but I suspect it will get louder as they wear down a bit. Yeah 13.5 gives me about a 1/2 inch clearance so I'll be ordering some billet spacers to be safe. I have not been off-road yet. The spare is taking up all the room in the tub. | |
