| I'm putting comp cut corners on my Rubi.. I got the passengar side on and in the back of the corner there's a black canister thing with 2 rubber hoses going to it.. What is it? Can I bypass it or move it? | |

| sounds like the evap canister for the fuel system. it can be moved, but with the JK it sometimes trips a code on the dash if not done correctly. | |

| Yeah, it's the evap canister. You can bypass the canister itself completely, just remove it and run hose from the one end to the other, leaving the rest of it in place. Or you can relocate the thing completely. Do a search at JeepForum.com, there's plenty of info on it. I haven't had to worry about it yet, myself. It applies to all '03-'06 TJ's/LJ's. | |
