| After seeing the Jeeps with stingers at Randys Cook-off, I've decided I want to build one for mine. I'm thinking I can build it kinda like the ones on the XHD bumpers... Any opinions? I think I have enough pipe to do it, I just need a bender and a welder... | |

| If you end up having to get another front bumper to make your stinger work, keep me in mind for the MBRP bumper , I know, wishful thinking, just thought I'd plant the interest seed. | |

| Been itching to remove the bullbar on my Shrockworks stubby and building a unique stinger that isn't pointed, lightning trussed, etc, etc. Trying to find someone able to bend big tubing right now, what's on there is 2.5" I think. | |

| I wouldnt build it like the one in the last pic in the first post. I would make it the same width at the bottom as the stock bar and bring it forward as far as you can and weld it there. You will probably have to trim the bottom of the stinger to follow the contour of the bumper. Once it is welded, just make some gussets out of 3/16 plate and weld them in for support. corey d | |

| Thats kinda what i was thinking... I'll more than likely remove the existing light bar, and could possibly use those bolts for the upper legs. I really dont want to weld one directly to the bumper, as its powder-coated, and I dont want to have to have that re-done. | |

corey d Says the man who DOSEN'T live right on the ocean.... LOL. Let me brain this for ya......This is how i rationalize this. You walk out the house, look at your rusty bumper and feel shitty, then look at the ocean and it puts you in a good mood. Seriously though, i get what youre saying. corey d

Well while you lucky dogs are enjoying paradise, maybe daydream about a new stinger bumper, and not mess with the killer one you have right now, you are feeling very sleeping, light as a feather, NOT SNAP OUT OF IT AND SELL ME THAT BUMPER! Just rasin' ya.

| Kenny, are you planning on keeping your bumper full width, and build a stinger to it? Never seen that before, and not sure if it would look right. I'd say cut them off like Mr RG did. | |

Never seen that before, and not sure if it would look right. I'd say cut them off like Mr RG did. Idk... I just cant bring myself to cut my bumper yet... I'm gonna make it bolt on like yours does. That way if it looks stupid I can take it off when not in use.
