The corners @header started tearing from the bungholes..or whatever they're called...ummm grommetts..that's it. The truck tonneau cover was just a cheap pos is all, no biggie, with a spare softtop (which I think I found a brand new one for free from a TJ) I may try and redo something.
But on to the good stuff, so coming back from the go topless choocha @San Luis about 1am, the back two super sturdy bungees let go...woohoo...POW!....KAPOW! Yep just like Batman & Robin, freaking scared the shit out of me, then the flapping, it was crazy, sounded like an S&W 500 going off every two seconds, the bungholes broke, I mean grommetts, so that and being sandblasted all the way home from the occurence in the pic below was enough for one day ...
...I don't think this hurt the safari top lol...and yes my d44 front is trussed ...talk about a smooth landing, the new suspension works fantastic.
