my Birthday weekend in Florida

First off, fuck all you guys for not wishing me a happy birthday. I have seen HBD posts to people that had less than 10 posts and not online in months.

Anyways, here is what I did this past weekend. My company went down to the VIP viewing area of the last launch of the Atlantis shuttle cause we had a piece of the cargo going up. Here are some crappy pictures taken from my "funsaver" camera.

I really need to get a new camera. Mine is getting very old. These were all taken from about 3.5 miles away. The normal viewing area is about 7 miles away but with a different angle.

Very, very cool. I hope I can make it to one of the remaining couple of shuttle launches before they cease altogether!

HAPPY BELATED B-DAY!!!

...as for the belated part, by parents get the same from me, so don't feel left out...time and dates don't stick well with me (even after 30+ years of "knowing" some)

I talked with some dude about jeeps while I was out there. I forgot the year of his jeep, 2000-ish. He said he didn't wave at 4 door JKs cause they weren't real jeeps, but he didn't even know there were 2 door JKs. I said I hardly waved at stocker jeeps unless they wave first cause I don't get many waves back. He then said he drove a stock jeep and I got quiet.

I dont wave at jeeps. I wave VERY enthuiastically at everyone else because I like when they look at me like I've lost my mind....
