| I've got a lil problem...
going to be moving from the loft soon (Brandi is planning on it to be over the weekend)...when she moved in movers were used and they lifted a dresser to the 2nd story (over the railing), but she has not been able to find a moving company that will take it back down
as for the bed and all, I can get that down myself (gravity works well)...but Brandi would not like me so much if I did that with the dresser so....are there any willing to stop by and help me get this damn thing down?
just so ya know, the dresser is approx 6' or so long and about 3' high...I'm thinking straps on both sides and lowering it down that way

| So I'm thinking We pull 2 of our rigs up nice and close to their place We bust out a couple windows on the 2nd floor Run 2 winch lines in thru the busted windows Wrap 2 tree savers (one on each side) and connect to the winches Lower it down... No Advil necessary | |

I like the way you think, Jody. I'm heading back into town this Sunday but if you're not getting around to this until noon or later, I should be able to pitch in.

| oh wait I have a better idea then breaking windows....
OK we can cut a hole in the roof...G can crawl the side of the building in the manche, once he's on the roof he can winch the dresser out strap it onto the back of the manche and then crawl back down.
No broken glass to cut yurself on! And G would have fun doing it!

| Well guess what....
I will now be working surveillance this weekend too (not that its a big surprise for me). I will NOT be around...but if others what to still help out Brandi thank you....and Jody is not to be left alone (lol, just had throw something in)...I could leave some $ for some brews or something
and just to make sure everyone is clear....no loading of boxes or anything would need to be done...just get the big items from the loft to the 1st floor and the paid movers will do the rest
....from the workaholic

| Good morning! First of all let me say thank you all so much for the offers to help us get the furniture down so the movers can load it up. It was quickly starting to stress me out!! Having such good friends that are always there to help (or break windows and cut holes in the roof!!) means alot to us. (I'm sure by now most of you have figured out that this is Brandi -not Joe!!) So...as of right now I have a call into the movers to see if they still have that spot available to move us, which was on Saturday between 2pm and 4pm. Of course, they dont open until 10 am (man I need those hours!!) So as soon as I hear back from them, I will get back to you guys and see what we can set up. Again, THANK YOU!!! | |

| FROM BRANDI: 1. My dear sweet husband -watch your lip or you'll be sleeping on the couch tonight! 2. I'm afraid to get a sign on name, I've seen what you guys do to new people on the forum... 3. I have got the movers lined up for this Saturday the 22nd. They will be at my dads house (to pick up a dining room table) first so I will need to be there at 2. Is there any way that we could get everyone to our place before noon? Just to be safe?! 4. Again, THANK YOU all for volunteering!! We really appreciate it! 5. Once we are all moved in, we will have everyone over for a big party!!!!! | |
