| Sorry there was no write up with the pics, i got them all loaded and then looked at what time it was. I stretched the wheelbase to about 105". The tons are out of a 2003 F-350. I am going with 538 gears and running a 37" irok, Pretty close to the old setup. The tons gave the jeep about 5" of overall lift, so i mounted the springs on the outside of the frame and got it down to about 3 1/2" of lift which i think i will be happy with. The front steering was fixed by installing a 90's model Astro van gear box. Other mods include a tuffy stereo console, George reworked the front of my cage and removed the windshield, 1/16 plate deck on the rear and the same plate for the roof, and finally got the speaker box built and installed so everything is water tight. I am hoping i can make K rocks but still waiting on some parts to get here. | |
