so here's my heep

so a little progress has been made

finally built the mounts for the grand cherokee seats i bought over a year ago



and i finally finished welding up the hood. just needs some bondo to clean it up





primered the underside of the hood and the back side of the replacement fender today. tomorrow they're getting some color then bolted on permanently so i can paint the whole jeep

also finally finished the front axle mounts and got it cleaned up and painted



putting gears in sometime this week and bolting it under the jeep for the last time hopefully by friday. waiting to get my motor in before i finish the steering and hopefully that should be done within a couple weeks. still need to pull the 14b out so i can blast,paint, and install gears but for now that's no important. i need to get the entire jeep sanded down before sunday so i can shoot primer monday and paint on tuesday.....not looking forward to prepping the jeep for paint


oh and i'll just leave this here and let ya'll wonder

well she's sitting on 4 wheels again finally. still need to order brake lines and pick up a couple tre's for my tie rod but the front is basically done. once i get the engine in i'll finish welding and painting my steering

still have to clean and paint the oil pan and valve cover. these are on there to keep paint out of the engine

well it's in....



going to try and get the trans/transfer case sealed up, bolted back together and back in the jeep this week. still gotta figure out what i'm going to do about fuel and i picked up a 4.7 throttle body that i need to either make an adapter for or see if i can mount it too the intake

I was expecting to see the outcome of this build since it's been years when you started it.

I wonder what brand of mud tires are those.
