Jeepin' for the Cure Shirts have arrived!!

Its been a while since we had some drama like this.

just fyi renee, there was no anger (at least from me...but yes alot of smartass)

and besides, truth be told, think I/we helped his event become more noticable...at least with this forum...check JKO...its only him bumping his own thread...now we have group partipation and awareness!



...at 155 views right now and he now has a 2nd page to his thread

as of right now 159 views and 26 post...

JKO = 2 seperate threads (total 105 views and 3 posts (all post being his))

JKF = 294 views and 13 replies (most his again)

think this lil group is hanging with the bigger forums just fine with raising awareness for this event...and we're about 5 days behind them on the notice!

Damn, maybe I should start some kinda marketing company...lol

First
of all lets get one thing straight, I am not here trying to pedal some
shirt for my own personal gain. I might have come off wrong and for
that I am sorry! But I will try to make things right now.

My
name is Jeff Goard, from North Carolina, yes that far away! I am just
your normal Jeep lover, who has had Jeeps all my life. My event Jeepin
for the Cure was an event
that I started along with my Dad, after he found out he had terminal
cancer. So the event is something very important to me now that MY Dad
has passed away from this terrible thing. I am trying to raise money
for my local ACS. I had to get approval to hold this event and I can
promise you 100% of the money raised goes to them. Cancer has effected
my dad, mom and myself, so how dare some of you think I am trying to
scam anyone. This is the second year holding the event, went from 25
Jeeps the first year to over 150 Jeep committed so far for this years.
So I am sorry, if I posted on here to get more people interested in the
shirts to raise more money for the ACS. I have posted on a few Jeep
boards and I have gotten approved, after they have contacted the local
branch. So if anyone wants the contact name and number I will give it to
you to check to see I am valid with what I am doing and saying. Cancer
is a bitch and Jeepers are a tight group of people, so I thought I
would get a better response than I did here. I will leave your guys
alone and "Pedal" my shirts to people that want to help! Once again I
am sorry! I have sold over 100 shirts and My goal is 100 more before
the event is schedule to begin, the more money I can raise is something I
can be proud of and I know my dad is smiling down from heaven, knowing I
am busting my butt off in honor of his name! I am really disappointed
that there are Jeepers that act and respond this "Hateful way" Sorry
again!

Oh and TxRubiRig you need to
look at the right thread "Relay for Life" 59 posts 1688 views on JKF but
you have gotten a lot of people here and thanks for that!

I could say the exact same thing. It doesn't make it true. You may not realize this, but 1) you sound exactly like a scammer, even though I you're probably on the up-and-up, and 2) trying the righteous indignation crap doesn't actually put others on the defensive like you think it does. How dare you throw "how dare you" around?
