In hospital

I've been in hospital now for 24 hrs....this sucks,I'm bored out of my freakin mind,my neck hurts because the TV is like 7 ft off the floor!!!UGHHH. I had to come in here because I got an infection on my arm,it turned real red and it started running up my arm. So far they say its not the dreaded MRSA..I just gotta stay in here to take an antibiotic through IV..Its kinda like being on lockdown in a hotel room, the place is nice and the food is good but I just can't go anywhere!! Wife has been to visit but she really can't stay long because its hard to find babysitter and she doesn't want to bring them here for fear of contaminating them..

Order pizza and stream Netflix on your puter... It helped me get through 5 days last summer.

Some decent nurses..sponge bath would be nice..begged wife for a quickie while she was here but she was scared of getting contaminated!!

Dang Todd that just sucks about everything the arm the quickie hope you get better so we can see you on the trails.

that sucks man, hope your arm gets better quick. Been there and done the hospital thing, what sucks is trying to sleep at night when they wake you up and ask how your sleeping....

Yeah this place is starting to suck and the food is getting worse....I am suppose to get out tomorrow though!!! Maybe I can talk my Dr into giving me a letter to get me out of work for a few days...

damn, sounds like you missed out on the Shrimporee this weekend. We almost made it out to that while driving back from Kingsville. Hope you get out soon.

I'm FREEEEE...... I just got home from hospital a little bit ago, turns out I didn't have MRSA this time but it was Nocardia, its another kind of bacteria that is found in dirt, maybe I should shower more often?!?!? The infection usually shows up in brain or lungs but rarely the skin, I guess I am lucky my did come out on the skin. Anyway, I am back home in my own house now and it sure feels nice!! Oh and thanks to everyone for the well wishes!!
