Or we could skip right to the good stuff: wrap the tow strap around the axle and give it some gas.

I've often thought of that idea, would be great in an emergency, but you would have to have lockers, and it could be a hell of a strain on your drivetrain...
EG: It would not have helped in this situation because the front end was open on Maverick's first land yacht...
But GEO could have certainly used it last time I saw him in the mud...

I posted it like that because I seem to recall him lambasting someone for pulling silly shit like anchoring a tow strap around their axle or knucle or wheel and being surprised when things weren't quite right after...
