| I'm looking into getting new shoes for my ride, but my 2" lift (springs and shocks) will only fit 32x10.5 size tire. Im gonna go with KM2s so I can fit 265 75 r16s with no problems (hopefully). But I would like to get 33s so I'm wondering if I could get coil spaces ontop of my already longer springs. Does anybody have any advice/experience with this, or does 1" really make that big of a diffrence ? - in tire preformace that is. ps. I really don't want to do a body lift either. Thanks, | |

| Talk to Renee....I think they still have my spacer lift at their house. I now have a 3 1/2 - 4 inch lift and thats perfect for the 33s. Go with the 33s. That one inch makes a world of a diff. I got the Nitto mud grapplers so they are 13.50 wide, just a bit wider than the BFGs | |

| What size tires do you have now? Have you ever found yourself being unable to get somewhere you wanted to go because your tires weren't big enough? If not, then 32's will be fine. | |

| I had KM2s and BFGs tend to run short. My 33x12.5s were one 10 inch rims and sat under 32 inches. 16 inch rims may limit your size, but a 33x10.5s may be a good fit for you. You can always squeeze em in and the see how they fit, throw in the spacers if you need them | |

| get another 1.5" of clearance by removing your fenders. get 2.5" with a saws-all. that's not so much an option on JKs since the fenders are already cut higher from the factory, but TJ's got lots-o-room for cutting | |

Hey...easy with the wee wee jokes, since after all, you are married to my sister!! With a 1" BL, I don't think you need to do anything like extend lines, etc, right? The only down side is having to fill the gaps above the bumper. Plus, don't you need the 1" BL for the Tummy Tuck hat you want to do? | |

| I'm leaning toward adding the coil spring spaces to fit 285 75 r 16s, whcic equates to a 32.83 X 11.22. My next question though is will I have to replace the factory spare tire holer to fit a 33? Anybody got a 33 mounted to their factory TJ spare tire holder? | |

| A lot of companies offer a spare tire spacer kit. They are pretty cheap, like 40-80 bucks. I have one from teraflex and it says it fits 33s. But that will add a lot of weight to your tailgate. But it should not be enough to really worry about. The spacers space the tire out and up at least three inches each way. So it should do the cheap trick. Or just get a full rear replacement, with a swing away, expensive, but awesome solution haha | |

| Or you could always mount the spare in the tub of the Jeep like I did | |

| Dude I really like how you did that, Ray. I saw that at the BBQ. Can you post up a pic or two of what it looks like without a tire on it? It looks to me like you took the stocker and just bolted it to the floor. Is that right? | |

| Thats pretty much what Randy and I did. We used the seatbelt bolt in the middle for one end and drilled the other two holes and bolted it down. The tire sits a little bit above the floor because if the backspacing of my rim. I'll try to get some pics later this week. | |

| I can take the tire out for short trips which is all I really drive with them in the Jeep. Any farther and it's the truck we go. | |
