| My first Jeep... well, sorta- Back when I was 19 (early 80's) I was driving by a Jeep dealership and saw an awesome used Jeep- lifted, huge tires, winch, light bar, etc etc. I stopped in and they were asking $4500 for it (which was pretty pricey back then considering you could buy a new Toyota pickup for under $9k). I was in love with it, and bought it on the spot- traded in my POS Ford pickup for the down payment. I owned that beast for a week- and then on the 7th day, the dealership called me and said they needed me to return to sign some paperwork they had forgotten. That was a lie- when I got there they said my credit had not gone thru and I needed to give the Jeep back A couple weeks later I found out that was a lie as well- Seems some rich kid in Memorial had had his eye on that Jeep, and after it was sold the father had gone to the dealership and offered them double the asking price. So they made up that lie to get it back from me. | |

| My first jeep was a 05 TJ. My dad gave it to me for my 17th birthday. I had it for less then 3 days before I fell asleep at the wheel and totaled it. Kinda of an ironic thing is I hit a mini-van that has the same engine as the Jks do | |

| 3rd here. I had an '89 YJ that I had gotten some exhaust work done at a local golden muffler shop. They screwed up something because it burned to the groung in my driveway as soon as I got it home. Sold that after the long BS. Bought a '97 Tj sport. sold it to buy my JK. The wife also had two liberty`s- a 2001 that was stolen and a 2002. | |

| First jeep. Always wanted one but ended up with sports cars and a motorcycle instead. Knees are bad so can't really ride anymore and have discovered that Jeeps are just as much fun and exciting. Now I just need to get rid of my new jeepitis and get it off-road. | |

| No plans on upgrades right now. Steve still has alot he wants to upgrade on his still so that's where the money will be going. That's fine with me though. Now if only he would get some bigger tires then I could have his mud tires. | |

Wow, he probably wont get an offer like that again soon Wish my wife wanted me to get bigger tires. Course, my 32`s might look goofy on her mustang. | |

| My first jeep. I got the jeep for 3 reasons. First because I now live out in the country and because some of the labs for my school requires me to go driving off-road. I needed to find any reason to justify buying a jeep Second because I love the huge aftermarket for the TJ. Odds are you will find something you could use. And third because I couldn't afford the insurance if I got another mustang. You know it's bad when you are on first name basic with the state troopers in your area.
