| I just ordered me another M35A2...going to be picking it up the weekend of sept 11th. Its a 1968 Kaiser Jeep They are going to install a winch and I am getting a hard top as well....it will be nice to have both tops My plan is to repaint it desert tan w/the desert storm inverted V on the door (just ordered the paint), install an M66 gun ring (w/replica M2) and then eventually install detroits in the rear axles. Im also going to put DIY bed liner in the bed and maybe on the floor of the cab As for tires, Im not sure if I am going to keep it military stock w/the NDT tires or single out the rears, flip the hubs and throw on 46in Michelin XMLs....decisions decisions

| Interesting that you picked one up..... I just dropped one. I have absolutely no use for one of those but I want one.... just for the cool factor. I love the bobbed ones that Hundy sells! | |

I love the bobbed ones that Hundy sells! very cool MRG! Did you do any mods to yours? I dont really "need" one either but I have been wanting one ever since I sold my last one. I cant wait to see N2s face when I roll up to wheel w/yall.... If I had the deuce last time we went to gilmer (and the gilmer air compressor was FUBAR) we could have all aired up off the M35s glad-hands

yup, I sold it when I moved out here to west texas. I didnt want to drive it 10 + hrs across the state...funny thing now is Im going to be driving 15hrs back from salt lake city. This truck is basically new (rebuilt by boyce w/all new parts) so its A LOT more reliable than my last deuce (that wasnt in the best shape)

I have seen GL actions end as low as $815.75 up to around $2500.00 for an m35A2 (what I have) If you want an m35A3 (the newer deuce w/auto trans, CTIS, CAT diesel, etc) its A LOT more since they are still pretty rare....usually 8k-17k

| So...stupid question here, but other than being cool, what purpose do these vehicles serve for someone like you? Do you wheel it? Tow/haul rig? Um...daily driver? | |

It is a daily driver (sorta) but I drive my sheriff office truck anyhere in the county. So I guess the SO truck counts as my real daily driver and the deuce county as a "fun" vehicle...however it works out, the deuce is a daily drive as much as I can drive it lol What do I use it for? I wheel it, use it in parades, VFW events, car shows, drive for fun, etc. I LOVE to wheel it...especially now that I have a winch (unlike my last one) and will install lockers soon
