| hey, so I can GO somewhere and SIT there (or have someone else go too and bring me back)...
or for twice, I can sit on my happy butt doing whatever it is that I was doing (cough TV cough) and have someone else COME here and do it!
honestly, two completely diff services IMHO. I would think that after all trip, labor, parts fees it should be right about double the imhouse cost.
just my $0.02, and worth every penny paid for it. | |

| YUP !! I agree - jkx0778 wrote:
- yup. if you end up doing it, as sad as it sounds, I'll prolly end up taking you up on your services. not that I don't / can't do those things myself, but TIME TIME TIME is always the issue for me
I'd rather spend the $$ having someone I can trust do it than spending the time and getting a ride to drop it off at a shop. - jonsjeep wrote:
- I was thinking of pricing it like this:
oil/filter change. $15 if you supply oil/filter, $40 if i do with non-synthetic motor oil, $60 if do with synthetic mobil one based on todays prices My example above was a suggestion to add charges while still remaining competitive. Especially given most households tightening up their belts and being more conscious of spending. Service Type.......................... Jon's price.......... price I suggestedConventional Oil Change..........$40.00.............$52.00 - $61.00 Full Synthetic...........................$60.00.............$72.00 - $81.00 I was thinking adding mileage of $0.40/mile & $5.00 filter charge. That's the higher end charge. The lower end charge would be minus the Filter charge and mileage one way. Still higher than what he was charging in his original post but not so high as to scare off potentional customers.
