My thoughts exactly. I've got one on the way and I don't even have a spare! I'm going to do some engineering on mine to make it work.

I received my Trail Shade tonight and did some testing that I think will clear up a lot of concerns for everyone. This thing is awesome!

My concern was that if I needed into the back of the Jeep my shade would crumble and if my Jeep is stopped long enough to hang around, I am definitely going to want to dig around in the back.

The three straps that connect the shade to the tire in all of the illustrations are 7' 6" long. I tested on both my two door and our unlimited and you do not need to use the tire. You can affix it to the roll cage and the straps are still long enough that it will hang outside of my back hard top window with it open.

You can also leave these straps connected to your roll bar if you happen to move along and disconnect the shade. Very well thought out in my opinion!

I am going surf fishing this weekend and will have some photos of it in action on the beach! If anyone is on Crystal Beach I'll be in a white 2 door posted up with a cold one near Sandy Shores! Smile
