| Anyone interested I'm doing some primitive camping Oct 9th & 10th in Stockdale? Do a little wheeling, BBq, build a fire and tell lies all night.... Also want to plan some new unobtrusive trails- so prob a lot of scouting.... Primitive= no toilets.. but lots of trees ;-) Plan to have electricity and water trailer done by then. | |

Sounds like a great time to do it.

| RBX, We have a couple acres down there off 1107. Did a mini MudFest previously :-) I drove down today to check it out. Not too muddy, even though it just pissed down something fierce. Camping area has a meter now (yeah!) but I still have to do a breaker box.... Would be nice to have a couple fans at night if it's still muggy :-) I figure if we get a large enough group, where a couple people bring canopies and everyone brings chairs and some foodstuffs, we ought to be set. Maybe we could convience the Pirates to do a show for us (hint, hint - oh Randy, your crazy blonde buddy et al are invited too). We've had enough water, so the kids could "swim" in the little pond by the campground. And if there's enough interest, I'll take Friday off and go down to mow around the creek. That SunB is --FUULLLL-- now! Maybe even a night ride! It's different this time - Grass is HIGH. So, we can't see the cactus at all. I would suggest bringing several cans of the Fix-a-Flat for everyone (if you plan on getting off the roads - plenty to do on road, for sure) | |

| Hey, we were all chatting about the ranch & guns -- dad wasn't so thrilled as I was.... So, we should probably wait until he gets to join us on a trip & he gets to meet everyone...

| got the camp site all mowed! and put base-camp in place (covered trailer)
should be down today to hook up power!
and if anyone has an ATV, you might trailer it out too. We can hit a LOT more on the little bikes and scout out new trails to clear for the Jeeps!

| Okay folks, Looks like I am going down Fri midday, and staying until Sun or Mon (Columbus Day). WHAT TO BRING? BYOF/BYOB - Since I don't have a clue who's coming, I'm not planning on a big meal. Since I have a shower, we can always hit FloresVille/La Vernia / etc for dinners. CAMPING - If you'd like to stay overnight, bring a tent and tarp for under it. And of course anything for inside it. You must provide your own companionship. (BYOH) WATER - If you have a clean 5gal bucket with a closing lid, you could bring one or two down with clean water. I have about 120gal down there, but it will go fast if everyone wants to shower. JEEPING - Bring a can of fix a flat at the very least. Hope to see everyone soon! --Mat

| Sounds like a good time, but I doubt I'll be able to make it. Is there a number we can call you at if we're going to give you a heads-up that we're heading in, or if we get lost for some reason (hey, you never know)? Thanks | |

Sorry man, I don't make the rain.... BUT the terrain is TOTALLY different than it was last time. Bottom field is a trip - 5' tall grasses and a creek bed to play in!!!
