| So I spent the last month coming up with this piece of reneck inginuity (sp?) A quick test gives about 45min of decent water flow. Probably more than enough for a dozen quick showers, dish washing, and other needs for camping! Weighs in full at about 1100' -- so the next test is if my TJ will pull it :-) Parts Used Galvanized single jetski trailer I had sitting out at my dads. 125 gallon water tank my dad had sitting out at his place. x2 5' 14 gauge 2x4 steel beams to replace the rotten wooden jetski skids. x1 Large hammer and x1 Small vice to re-fab the brackets for the wood 2x4. Because as isn't quite evedent a 2x4 in wood is not the same size as a 2x4 in metal. x2 heavy load eTrack ratchet straps and a 1' piece of eTrack bracket x1 12v 4PSI on-demand water pump 6' braded 5/8" tubing & a couple hosebib adapters x1 used battery, 12v switch & battery box and a bunch of wood and metal screws laying around the garage | |

| PS The TJ will pull it just fine. My question is whether the old Kawasaki Mule we have out at the lease (or the Arctic Cat 550) will pull it | |

| I was goin to spool out a black garden hose, but running through an engine is a neat idea. we'll have to contemplate that after cold showers!

| So I think it's the rubber strips I put under the water tank that are sliding around a bit side to side. They are there to keep the tank from getting ruined over the years, so I need something there...
I'm curious if a heavy coat of bedliner without texture would be "rubbery" or not.
Anyone with experience? I might go get me a couple rattlecans and give it a whirl to see..... | |
