| I'm not sure if anyone saw it last weekend but you may have seen a particular JK on there that you might recognize from around these parts. | |

| Me like cookies. lol. That comment got overblown on JKO. I really don't think Ian meant any harm. He right though. A rig with a v8, big axles, etc has been done many times before. He had the chance to do something non cookie cutter and he took it. I think it's a good experiment but I really wouldn't choose atomics over a traditional 9" or D60. It's good TV and makes for an interesting build.
Ian rode with me that weekend when we went to K2. He's still hesitant to bring his rig out b/c it's bone stock with no armor. I'm still trying to amass parts for his JK build so he won't have anymore excuses.

| JKX, I just realized that you meant Ian from Xtreme. There was another Ian there that weekend who's also a forum member. I thought you meant that Ian. My mistake.
Ian from Xtreme was not there with me when those shots were taken. He asked for a few shots of my rig to use on the show so I emailed them to him.
For what it's worth, I asked him to bring that JK down to Tejas so we can run it through its paces here.

| lol. for a second there I was like, "Damn!! Tim is helping Ian from EXTREME with that JK build and sounds like he knows him really well!! Maybe he'll let us know the next time Ian comes to Texas and we can get the club together on that run" too funny kinda off topic, but I just got a lead on a hemi w/trans, CPU and harness for cheap, but then I would have to save for another YEAR or TWO before I could afford the kit to install it ... but I haven't said "NO" to the deal ... yet | |
