11:00 am sounds good to me. when we decide on a date, we can start talking about who has what (tools). i listed mine above. so far 2 votes for the 16th (now that i changed mine to at least get us closer to a decision)

One more thing we need to address is time. What time do you all wanna get started once we decide on a date? I think the earlier the better since we don`t have much light in the later part of the day. Maybe 11:00. FYI - I live in Bulverde about 12 miles north of 1604 just off Hwy 281. So figure about 15 - 20 minutes north of the loop. Looking forward to it! :elmodance2: :stickfigDance:

Depends on the bumper. It may be a simple cut/reweld bracket, or a major overhaul. The mounting is totally different. TJ`s just mount on the top/bottom of the frame rails-JK front face only.

Well someone did this on JK-Forum (&%@#!&) and said all they did was grind out the bottom o the TJ bumper and then redrilled new holes for the bolts

cody, we'll need scrap 1/4" steel to fab up some brackets to weld on the bumper that will bolt up to the JK.

Well so far we have 3 entries not including me, & 3 posters .If it`s only the 4 of us, you guys will have to decide on a date .

I think if we have several show up we could get several projects done at the same time.

i got a cb and off-road lights to install. and i wouldn't mind trying to get my TJ bumper modded to fit my JK

Sounds good to me . Just a thought, would you all like to just tackle as much installing as we can fit in a day, or would you rather schedule a particular month meet to correspond to a particular install? In other words, March meet - lift, June - front rear bumpers etc.

i've got :
4-jackstands
air rachet, air hammer, and impact gun
large compressor (if someone has a truck to pick it up)
mini sledge hammer (3lb hammer)

to install, well.... here goes:
teraflex quick disconnects
wanna swap out my front spacers with the 2.5" skyjacker springs i got
all 4 skyjacker hydro shocks
AND, finally.... a skid row engine/trans skidplate

i'd do most of it in my driveway, 'cept it's a fairly steep incline

Just wantd to let everyone know that I still plan to host the install party.A poll has been created so that a date can be set. My plan is to host the party and provide tools and a place to install parts that you need help with. Since this will be the first time, I will try to figure out the best plan for attack. Anyone needing to have an item installed, please post so I can set up accordingly. Also, if a lift is planned, I may need someone to bring a few items I don`t have. The things we will need that I don`t have are floor jacks and jack stands. Everything else I`m good to go on. Beware, I have a welder, and I know how to use it ! BTW- For me to be able to host, it`ll have to be on a weekend.
