So I got an offer from someone in houston saying they would buy my jeep from me for the payoff amount of close to 18,700. I took the offer and then went out and bought an '06 F-350 powerstroke. Then I thought, "now I have a big 'ol truck, but nothing to tow or wheel with." Looking on craigslist, I found my new lil beater, an '88 Samurai, 6.5:1 t-case, Toyota axles, brand new 36" swampers, and a spring over lift. Along with that, the guy gave me and extra samurai for parts, and an '08 Texas Bragg 18' trailer all for $4300. Now, on to the pics. I crossed to the dark side and got out of jeeps (but still into crawling). I hope we can still be friends...

Not a bad deal. You managed to pick up a trail rig that you can really beat on and something to tow it too. That's always been the one downside to wheeling a JK. It's hard to bash up and potentially break something you're still making payments on.

I have a buddy that builds custom Zukis and his buddies were giving him shit for helping me wrench on my Jeep. His wife took a pic of my Jeep in his drive way and said that he sold his Zukis and bought a Jeep - funnay.

I followed him all over Gilmer and his little Zuki was like a mountain goat... it crawled like a mother.

You'll love the Sami.

I've owned at least 10 different offroad trucks (from a prerunner to a truggy on 44's to a my old Jk) and first Zuk was by far my favorite.
