| The heater core is bad in the truck but the dealership wants $709 to replace it. Is anyone available this weekend that knows how to replace them that could help me? I can supply beer and pizza and what not. | |

| What year is it? Cause my cousin own a couple auto shops, the whole dash needs to come out! A/C might need to be vac'ed out and then re-charged. The book calls for appx. 8 hours. He normally charges bout $760-$850. This is not a backyard type of repair! LOT OF WORK INVOVLED This is what a TJ looked like to replace heater core. | |

| For my truck you only need to remove the glove box and takes 4 hours (per ford repair manual) | |

| It wasn't all too bad. The hardest part was removing the hoses from the heater core pipes. After that was done it probably took 30 mins to take it out. | |
