| Go easy, I'm new here.
I want to keep this low key as possible. Saturday Feb 5th @ HEB parking lot Culebra/1604 2 pm Its 9 miles out 472 (Culebra) from there. I don't want to have a cookout or anything, just roll around a bit and meet some folks.
Terrain is rocky, no mud or dirt to speak of. Some decent trails but never been used for those purposes so you have to look for challenges. There are roads all over, some of them are not so good. No firearms, not a lot of alcohol. I will probably bring my kids (6 and 9) so......yeah. Bring a camera if you like.
Check back here often, if I have to cancel for some reason, I'll post.

| I saw that it was the day of the meeting but its close to that location. I figured 3 hours or so of screwing around then over to that and we're good. Can always call it off if that don't work. Kinda sorta doing it that way on purpose. | |

Why all the way to Rockport, there are a couple gun shows in town this weekend, I'm going to look for a Springfield subcompact 9mm 3" barrell, like Saschas'

Why all the way to Rockport, there are a couple gun shows in town this weekend, I'm going to look for a Springfield subcompact 9mm 3" barrell, like Saschas' S&W Bodygaurd 380. I put in several calls to gun stores and none of them could get one. I even called S&W themselves and they told me they had 36,000 back order. That's a shit load of guns, they told me to just place my order and they would get to it some time. This guy called me from rockport and said he was able to get one, I called him like three weeks ago trying to get one. He said he would hold it for me until sunday but now I'm going to go saturday instead. 6 rounds, built in laser sight

| Stacy, I like my XD 9mm subcompact. Was pretty acurate for a short barreled gun. Very comfortable to shoot and trigger was not too heavy. But it is not a good concealed carry gun. I think the one Robert is getting is better for that purpose.
But your not getting your CHL for a while anyway.

| I have about 2 hours I can spare on Saturday from 2 to 4 and your place is close enough for me to shoe-horn in before my date with my wife. I'm in Helotes, which is a stones throw (pun intended) away. It'll give me a chance to check out my new JKS Quicker Disconnects. Meet you at HEB at 2:00. | |

| I'm new too so sure.
I'll be at the HEB on the west side near the Taco Cabana. White POS YJ freezing to death with no top on.
The terrain is varied, there are roads crossing the whole place. You can find challenging stuff easily off the roads, though and in the creek bed.
