Assuming everything is stock, you need to come up 3/4" to 1". I ran the Teraflex Leveling Kit for about a year - it lifts the front 2" and back 1" so it sits level and a tad taller: http://www.northridge4x4.com/proddetail.php?prod=TF-1155200. Teraflex also came out with a coil spring leveling kit instead of the spacers: http://www.northridge4x4.com/proddetail.php?prod=TF-1351500.

Also, I know that Daystar makes a leveling kit that consists of just a 3/4" spacer for the front.

If i go with a 2.5" spacer kit do I need new shocks or will the stock ones work?

stock ones will work. you wont get any more droop than stock, but I wheeled like that for a long while with no problems. most shocks for 2.5' lifts are only 1/2" - 3/4" longer anyways.

Good to know I really appreciate the imput. I would rather save the money on the new shocks and put it towards something else.

You could always add shock extensions to your stock shocks, I think they are about $30 a pair - you can probably find them used for cheaper. For 2.5" I think most kits would recommend extensions or longer shocks but I don't have the first hand knowledge stated in the post above.
