| Well, I've been fairly quiet lately... I've been paying off bills, now that they are payed off, its time to get out wheeling again. I've been slowly collecting parts when I've seen some deals. These came in today, and is what the build will be based around...Just a teaser for now, | |

| OK, It's a 1989 YJ, 4 cyl 5sp. that I picked up for a grand.. Didn't run when I bought it, thought it was the fuel pump. When I got it home I noticed it was missing a relay by the battery....hmm $10 later she fired right up. Thought about turning around and selling it, but decided to keep it. Anyway, The pics of the Jeep are on the camera and I misplaced it it, Hopefully find it tomorrow So far I'm into this thing for about $3400 with the big parts below, plus another $200 for miscellaneous stuff Anyway, here is what I have for it so far. 42x14-17 Super Swamper Iroks on 17x8 steelies with Balllistic Fab Weld on Beadlocks, the tires have seen some trails still probably over 80% tread left, The wheels and beadlocks are new... Paid $1200 for them, then another $200 to get them here from Amarillo... so say $1400 Front Chevy Dana 60 complete, but disassembled, no big deal because it will be rebuilt anyway... Paid $600 Rear 2003 14 Bolt with factory disc brakes... paid $300 Going to Run XJ leaf Springs front and Rear.. $100 | |

| Well, I haven't updated in a while. I really didn't get much done over the summer due to the near constant 100 degree temps. A little change of plans in the build. Sold the 42's because I would really like a more streetable rig. The Dana 60 has been replaced by a HP Dana 44 from a 1979 F-250. The day I brought it home | |

| Rear 14 bolt in place. Decided not to use the XJ rear springs and went with Stock Toyota truck springs from an 1985 truck. Gives about the a 4.5" stretch without any extra fab work Stock Waggy springs used in the front and sitting WAY to tall

| My Jeep Bling. 37" Krawlers on some H2 Wheels Ugh Oh. Looks like we have some clearance issues. Just a rough cut. They will get some genright stretch corners. | |

I'm shooting for January, just hard to get there when I really only get one day a week to work on it. | |

| Looking good. What if you change the opening on the corners to keep you axle where it is? I like the way the tires have a zero approach angle on the rear. Great for coming off ledges. | |
