| Had a lot of fun at Spring Creek today. But later in the day, Redneck got us into some off the beaten path trails that were extremely narrow and twisty- definitely not intended for 4dr JK's. Right at the beginning of the trail, my driver's side rear fender scraped the side of a tree really hard- nasty ass scratches on it (oh well)... So at one point Redneck stops and I tell him about my scrape, and his response is "It wasn't THAT narrow" LOL... As soon as he starts again, he tries to squeeze between a couple trees, and rips his front passenger side bumper skin OFF! Took it right off just leaving the ugly underneath (Jennie got some pictures, so I'm sure she'll post eventually). A bit further down the trail, my passenger mirror took a minor hit so Shannon reached out to fold it in. When she did, she glanced back and shouted "Oh shit!!!". I immediately stopped and looked back to see a tree right up against my hardtop on the passenger side (the same tree that had glanced the mirror). So I back up a bit and work my way past the tree. When we got stopped later down the trail, I went to look and have a nice new pinstripe leading to a nice sized dent in my passenger side rear fender We left around 3:30- Redneck was out assisting someone that was broken down on the trail when we left. When I got home I called him- they were still out there wheeling, and he told me Joe had taken a couple minor scrapes/hits to his fenders as well. | |

| I flopped my JK on to its side last Saturday at Katemcy and was absolutely sure I'd completely mangled the passenger side of my JK. Luckily because of the way the Jeep was balanced apparently not much weight was on the side and I only scratched the crap out of both flares and broke a blinker. Maybe the JK's simply don't like the factory flares and are rejecting them wanting us all to purchase tube fenders. | |

| Glad I wasn't with yall then. We did get into a few tight spots later but not that bad. Yea, I bet Shannon is glad she wasn't in her new baby. | |

| Hey Jennie, you were giving me a hard time about still having the stock air dam. Well, you will be happy to know that I got home today & that thing was dragging the ground on one side. I went ahead and ripped it off. | |

| Hutch thats funny! oh and by the way I was wondering about your air dam when we left because there was a JK air dam back in that big mud hole on the way to 2nd beach I was wondering who left it behind, so it wasn't yours or Joes maybe it was wicked lizzards? or who knows. Joe getting strapped just means your wheelin hard and thats a good thing. We've all been strapped at some point, Can't tell you how many times I've had to pull G out and G is always having to pull Paul over something. haha G really played recovery man yesterday he pulled Hutch out, Joe out he had to give this XJ a big tug and even wrinched on an old Yoda. Had a blast guys! Can't wait to do it again! | |
