| OK, so my daughter's 5th grade teacher recently bought a JK Unlimited. She took her 100% stock Jeep wheeling down at the coast and got it stuck in the mud. She now has a severe vibration at 60 mph. I've emailed her with suggestions where to look, but I've never actually gotten stuck in mud as bad as she got stuck. My suggested areas to look at are:
1. Mud trapped in a wheel spoke 2. A lost wheel weight 3. Mud on a drive shaft 4. Bent drive shaft 5. Damaged axle knuckles
What other things could it be?
Thanks for your expertise.

| You've pretty much have them all pinned down. It is probably a wheel weight or mud on the rims/or DS.

| Tell her to stop being a pansy and just floor it until the vibration clears up. Just kidding. Like Sascha said, you've pretty much nailed the big stuff. 90% of the time it's mud on the wheels. If the rotors are vented you can get mud stuck in those orifices too. | |

| OK, just got an email from our "customer". Her husband removed the wheels from her rig. There was quite a bit of mud collected behind the spokes of the wheels. They cleaned out the mud and the drivability is much better!
I counselled her to wheel it and get it dirty again. Thanks for your help folks!
