You are welcome to come down and stay at my place for this or any other event or just to hang out There's a good deal of it from what I could see. I can send you the install info for it if you like. Here's a link for a similar install on a zj. It should be about as much welding or a little less. http://www.mallcrawlin.com/forum/showthread.php?8165-Clayton-Off-Road-Hard-Arm-4-Link-Long-Arm-Suspension

Raul, are we still ok to do the install at your place? Yeah we can do it at my house. Let me finish working on my trailer. I should be done this weekend (BTW I am going to need some help). The weekend of the 4th I am busy. Saturday the 11th I am free after 3pm so we can start then …or we can wait until the weekend of the 18 th or the 25th Just let me know what works best for you and everyone else that it’s helping.

| just got an email about this. if you want you can tack the stuff together with your little welder then bring it over to me to fully weld in. my welder doesn't travel very well the way i have my cart set up plus not really into lugging my argon bottle around. won't guarantee the welds will be beautiful but my welds don't break. if i had more room and my jeep not taking up the entire garage ya'll could do it here but until i get my new axles under the jeep and finish my motor i just don't have the room for an install party | |

Thanks Shawn! That sounds like a great idea! I think we should plan to finish everything on Saturday the 11th and head your way for full welds on Sunday the 12th? how that sounds to you?

| my place wouldn't be a good place for doing that kinda install. no flat lvl ground other then in the garage which my jeep is currently taking up completely and since it doesn't have any axles currently bolted to it it's not moving anywhere. once you get everything figured out and get the pieces tacked together just bring them over here, trying to tow or drive the jeep here with stuff tacked is a very bad idea plus i can't weld overhead to save my life.
if by chance i do manage to get my axles under it in time then my place might be a possibilty but i wouldn't hold my breathe

Thats my problem right there. I was looking at the instructions online about this isntall and it requires to weld overhead. I think most of them are overhead.

| send me that link. i've noticed on alot of lifts they make you do stuff the hard way for no reason. and honestly it's not that i can't weld overhead it's just that it comes out ugly as sin afterwards but that's what they made grinders for. i just prefer to do it the easy way so it comes out clean and semi professional looking with alot less work | |
