| I am meeting with Jim Hatfield of Northwest Dodge-Jeep this Thursday to start lining out some ideas for an Event/Fundraiser at his dealership in Houston. This will primarily be to raise money and toys for the Christmas party Wheelers for the Wounded has for 200+ kids at Fort Hood. Normally we like to give every kid $50-100 worth of toys and goodies plus hold at huge party for them. The ones on the bases are usually the ones in bad shape. The families are not doing too well and need help. Last we did this for 50 kids and it was great but it is hard to do. You can do the math, $75 x 200 = $15,000 in toys. That equates to 1500 $10.00 Toys.
So, I need help. What will draw the people in? Lets hear some good ideas and, if your not serious....Don't reply.
The event will be Sunday November 13.

| I would also love to see something like in the SA area happen, and maybe Dallas. I think with the Police contacts that you guys have in SA, this could be a worthy event.

| I'm not saying that this is gonna happen yet, but I might be able to get you a good group of helpers on this. My oldest daughter (Madisen) is in NJHS and in the Girl Scouts. She has to complete service projects in both of these and this is exactly the type of thing I think she should get involved with.
Her mother and I were talking with her about ideas and were talking about doing something to benefit kids. We specifically discussed sick children, but I actually love the idea of helping children of wounded warriors. I know with a project like this she will be able to get monetary and material donations both.
I will PM you with all my contact information so we can visit more about this. | |

| Sounds good. I will give you call. We have worked with the Boy Scouts in the past and was thinking of trying to find a way to pull some kids into this. maybe we can help them with their own toy drive or something. I am always willing to help the Boy and Girl Scouts. I was a Boy Scout myself, wife was a Girl Scout. I like the idea. | |

| I don't know what sort of marketing budget would exist for this event or the dealership, something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wTfWxW5tOscould be exceptional publicity for both Jeep and the dealership, while simultaneously achieving your goals. I don't know what sort of area the dealership has to work with but I could see something like this being gold for all members involved. Perhaps even a ride along for sick kids in our modified jeeps could be arranged. Just a thought. I would really like to be involved in this though. please PM me with more info. | |

| I think that tour came to Houston and did not do very well. I think the reason is that many in the Texas area actually use their jeep. Plus the Dealership needs to be turn back into a dealership that night so they can sell cars the next day. I know a football game is one and I thinking, maybe a tailgate contest, and pot luck style tailgater party. Also, Jim has the new Penstar Jeeps to ride around in. Maybe we can get him to do a little course and do test drives in that.

| Keep the ideas flowing. Right now we are thinking of a show and shine. Maybe get the Boy Scouts to judge it and have trophies. Will have some prizes too. | |
