| Now, I just need to see who can help me install these..... Marcus from River City Offroad gave me a great deal on these, and his customer service is the best in the business. Was about time I upgraded my gears. | |

| The gears are 5.38's. Renny, gears are a little complicated and requires a specialist to do them well. It can be done, but it can be a very expensive lesson if installed wrong. And luckily the Jeep already has lockers, so that is something I don't have to worry about.
Hopefully Paulie is able to help do the install, but he might be too busy. I'll ask him on Saturday if they show up at the Xmas party. If not I'll go another direction. But I can't wait to have these babies installed.

| You'll love those gears! Thanks again for your business! I threw them in mine, drove it about 40 miles and then threw it on the trailer and went to Hidden Falls. So much for break in, eh? Let me know if you need anything! They should install very easily, we didn't even have to re-shim mine. Marcus | |

But I can't wait to have these babies installed. It can be a very Brutal lesson even when done WRONG by a very reputable shop known for building some hard core rigs and tube buggies. Give Robert at Off Road Ready a call. I found his prices very reasonable and haven't had any problems with over 20K miles on mine. I know he's running some holiday specials. Not sure if he's running any specials on gears installs, but I'm sure you could work something out with him (everyone needs a little extra holiday cash).

| Good choice on the 5.38's. 5.13's are barely adequate on 37's in the JK. | |

| It has taken me a while to figure out which would be best, but i don't wheel hard enough to worry about the pinion size. The extra 150RPM's @ 70mph is nothing either compared to 5.13.
Only time will tell if it really is the right decision, but I cannot wait for a little more ooomph of the line. And I bet the 5.38's will do nicely on the trails as well.
Jeff, will you rig be ready for wheeling next spring. We typically head out again around February/March. Been way too long since we hit the trails together.
