I had my jeep jk lifted 4in today. I drove it home 3 blocks and it was ok. About 20 min later I was driving down the block and my.jeep started breaking on its own. The traction light and esp bas light is on. I don't know what is wrong.

Is your steering wheel straight?
Also, what lift? Adjustable control arms?

Steering wheel is off. I got a zone 4in lift. No control arms.

If you straighten your steering wheel most likely your problem will go away. I don't know anything about the zone 4" lift. I'm not very familiar with the Zone products, but I don't think it includes any kind of geometry correction for the axles. Dutchboy asked the right question too. You are going to need some type of control arm geometry adjustment in order to get the axles oriented for proper drivability. Having said that, you most immediate problem will be to get the steering wheel centered.

I have a procedure I downloaded from JK-Forum. It is very easy to follow. PM me your email address and I'll gladly email it to you.

It's just your steering wheel. Just follow the directions hook'em will send you.
With 4" lift, you'll be fine, but you'll loose the rubber boot on your front ds the first time you go wheeling.

Glad we could team up and help you out. Don't forget your payment for our fine service. We only ask for you to post some pics of your rig with the mods. It's a small price to pay for the joy of having a fully operation rig again.

Also, please be mindful of what Sascha said though,

Your axle has dropped 4" and your DS is at a sharper angle than it was originally. Without geometry correction, this will stress the joints and the boots. Just keep an eye on it for now. Watch for grease slinging from the boot. Once the boot gets pinched and torn it's only a matter of time...

Do enjoy your reinvented ride. cheers

Don't forget to make sure your break lines aren't to tight. That will also set the BAS off as well.
