Wrecked the Jeep!

Spun a 360 through a fence doing 60. Let me know if anyone is getting rid of tops, steering linkage, or KC lights. I am lucky I did not roll, multiple times.

That's one thing that would PISSSSSS ME OFF!!!!! wreck the damn thing on the street. I wouldn't give a rat's ass if I damage it on the trail.....but on the street. I'M PISSED!!!!!!!

Well I did end up off road! haha but thanks man, really superficial damage. Except for the steering and the seat.

BTW were you the one who took out the fence off Hwy 90 & Hunt Lane?? I swear someone runs over/thru that fence everytime we get a decent rain.

Glad you're OK man. Like Robert said, trail carnage is acceptable. Road carnage is most definitely not acceptable.

Thanks guys, this was on 474 in Kendall County. Dangerous road that I drove too many times and got way too comfortable with. Deacon what condition is it in? I may be interested.

What steering linkage do you need? Is the old broken or bent? I have my stock one, I don't know how good it is. I was gonna use it for trail parts. But if you need one we could trade them out.

Both pieces Where they intersect together is way bent out. Almost 6 inches. I have my stock stuff as well, but it is in really rough shape. I am going to try and set it up better than it was before so that I can avoid this situation.

Yea the Grand Cherokee is suposed to be a good upgrade.

Is it really? I just went ahead and ordered about $1200 in replacement parts. I had a safety savings for events like this. I gotta fix this ASAP. gotta drive to work!

The top's in great condition. There's one small cut in the back flap where it overlaps the rear window, purely a minor cosmetic issue, but that's about it.

Yeah I hated my last pavement ends top. I kept saying that someone must have come up with something better than this. Bigger fixable zippers and what not. I guess getting in a wreck was the excuse I needed!

Yea, I bought one of the pavement ends soft tops and returned it after I could not keep it on the jeep sitting in the driveway. Those are the worst designed tops I've ever seen.

They sent me one that was the wrong size. Then they sent me one that fit. All the zippers broke. Most the windows got holes. And the fabric also started getting holes. Now it's been shredded by barb wire haha. I look forward to the Rampage top
