BBQ Benefit @ 4Wheel Parts March Madness Sale 3-10

All,

We will be hosting a BBQ benefit (For Joe) at the 4 Wheel Parts March Madness Sale on March 10th from 9-5. Randy will be cooking, plates will consist of chicken and sausage, rice, beans, pickles, onions and a bottle of water...plates are $8.00.

We can use alot of help, especially with selling tickets. I would like to give tickets to each member who can help sell (tickets should be ready soon), we want to promote pre-sale but will have some for sale the day of the event. We are accepting cash or checks only, no CC

Here are a few details of help that is needed.

Take flyers to local businesses, especially around 4 Wheel Parts

Sell tickets

Clean up after event

Donation of water, pickles, onions, ice, ice chests, trash bags

What have I forgot???

Guys time is moving fast, we really don't have much time to get as many tickets sold as possible, I appreciate all of your help

I work just around the corner from 4 Wheel Parts. I'd be happy to deliver flyers around these here parts. I can also sell any tickets in the area as well.

I will donate cases of water and sell tickets.

I will definitely help sell tickets. I will purchase 4 myself.

WooHoo! I just made up my own flyer and 3 plates have sold.

Does anyone know what 4x4 clubs typically attend that event at 4wheelparts?
If we can find out, we could post up on their forum, to let them know we are selling BBQ plates. Just in case they bring their own food or plan to BBQ themselves.

I think her tickets are numbered, as to track how many sold.

I don't think they are numbered. I'm not sure if they are getting printed on certain paper or something like that to avoid counterfiets. There are scum out there that will do crap like that, even for a fund raiser like this.

I think any members who sell tickets should initial the back that way we can kinda verify the ticket is legit. Just a thought????????

I've got a cooler that can be lent out and I can get a few bunch of Onions. I think we can post up on mililitary jeepers. Ill try to get that going.

4 Wheel Parts has offered to do the tickets for us, they look great, should be ready this week. As soon as they are I will try to get out to everyone.

Tickets will be coming soon, we will need everyones help to sell them

Here is an update on the Benefit BBQ for Joe. Tickets are ready, please contact, Renee, Bobby, Sascha, Richard, Robert, Stacy, David, Jeff, Ray if you can help sell some. We also need commitments from you guys to help us with this event. If you can help please let us know what time you will be there and what time you need to leave, if you are donating items please let us know how much.

We had a great meeting with 4 Wheel Parts yesterday; they think we may be able to sell 500 tickets.

Remember as you are selling tickets we are taking donations as well, if they don’t want to buy a plate.

Joe is one of the first Jeep Nation members. He's been battling lymphoma cancer and recently took a turn for the worst. He is now in hospice care and we are having this event to raise funds to assist his wife with expenses that will surely remain.

I've posted to texas wheelin, texas jeep owners, texas 4x4, Jk owners, lone star jeep club and JK forum. I also emailed it to SAJE club to put on their web site.
