Urgent !! Help Needed Sat, March 10th at 4WP

Everyone,

We need help with our benefit / fund raiser for Joe at 4 wheel parts this Saturday, March 10th.

I know we have another thread, but I wanted to start this thread for Volunteers to work the event with us!

The event is from 9 am - 4 pm. There are some of us that will be there all day. Unless we are delivering plates, etc. But for the most part, we only have a handfull of people who have committed to being there. I know not everyone can be there all day, and we do not expect that. BUT, we do need help all day long.

We need help setting up, during the day, and cleaning up.

Please post here if you can be there to help out for two hours or so. We need some staggered times so that we can have people take a break here and there. This will be a fun event, so it's not all work. They will have an RTI ramp (which I fully intend to take advantage of). Also, what's better than sitting around talking jeeps with fellow enthusiasts????

I know many of you already plan to attend and have said you will help out, but please post up what times you can be there to help with building plates or cleaning up.

We would really appreciate commitments to the times you post up because we will base who works when. I'd say we need at least 6 people there at all times.

I'll be there from 8AM until the End.

Rocio will be there from 2 until the end. (Actually she will be there shortly after 2)

Paul will be there early since he will be bringing the ice. He WILL have to leave at 10:30, to get the plates delivered. When he is finished running his route, he will be returning.

I am still on the fence. This is our busiest season, so I won't know until we get closer to Saturday.

I will be there from 8am until the end. Mary will be there to deliver meals.

Thanks guys. I updated the OP. But we still need more help. That's a lot of work for such a small group. I hope we get more volunteers so people can take breaks during the day. I know I have to leave to drop off plates.

We'll be just fine; there's always heaps of people who won't commit but then show up and help here and there. The rest of us will work our tails off all day. It's supposed to be a gorgeous day, and the cause could not be more worthy.

Not on the list: Robert, John S, D.J., all who I believe will be there (and work their butts off too)

I am having Madisen pitch the event to her NJHS people tomorrow morning. I'm really hoping we can get some middle school kids to pitch in and help. I will send her with a signup sheet to see if we can get any takers right away.

Cool. Robert, John, and DJ - can you guys post times you can work? I know we'll have a lot of people show up and help, but posting times helps just so we have an idea of where/when we need help when people show up. People are more than welcome to jump in and help whenever they can.

I can definitely help fill the time slot between 10 and 12, but I will have to leave shortly after 12.

What else do we need, supply wise?

Wait time is Randy getting there? Should we take breakfast meats,eggs for us to make there?

Will anyone have a Jeep Nation flag? I'll have a couple of ice chests and a table. I don't think we have to worry bout shade, forecast calls for 59 for high.

Randy will be there at 8:00. He will have a batch of chicken all ready to go by then and the cook the rest there. I wouldn't bother with all that.

Chris, We didn't want to make this a hard core Jeep Nation Event. Midnight 4 Wheelers are helping and I think SAJE might too. However do wear your JN shirts if you have them.

We aren't worried about shade. We're worried about COVER. It's supposed to be raining pretty good all day We have plenty of pop-up tents for the chicken, but if you plan on being there all day, might want to bring yours too. Better to have an not need, then need and not have. We need a place were people can hang out without being rained on.

Ill be there from 730 am till not sure when. Really depends on how suck the weather gets and if my mom and wife can't handle the cold. I want to stay all day. So that'e me +2 to help out at the event. Also am adding another ice chest to the list so I am bring 2 now. I will see you all tomorrow.
