The owner of this Jeep wasn`t so lucky. He was killed after falling 500 feet into an abandoned mine pit. His wife didn`t want to be in the vehicle when he tried to turn it around. This happened about a year ago. Be safe out there people.

The picture below is of a Jeep owned by a gentleman named Mike Lane. He was a prominent Colorado wheeler. In 2000 he was wheeling near Gibson Lake Colorado and lost control and cartwheeled down in excess of 1/4 mile. The picture below shows how the body of his Jeep tore away from his chasis. This accident was the talk of the wheeling community back then.

Didn't several die last year on Black Bear, Jeff, or was it the year before???

Seems like I remember it was a Jeep full and they all rode it down to the bottom.
