| Yesteryday we wheeled at K-Rocks from 9AM until dark. I can't wait to do it again.
It looks like they are going to be open on the weekend of June 9th and 10th. I'm thinking of going on for the day on Saturday the 9th. I'll be leaving SA at around 6AM and back sometime late that night.
Any one else want to go? | |

| Anyone planning on going to k2 this weekend? I am pretty sure it's the last weekend they are open at least according to their website. I am still thinking of going. I have 2 or 3 other jeeps that would be heading up there with me. | |

Will be at Canyons the following week. If the Jeep survives K2 then we might be going to Canyons also.

Rolled in to K2 at 8AM. On the trails by 9. Not many people there...maybe 15 to 20 trucks total. Was in a small group of 4 Jeeps. We ran School Bus, Cyclops, and several trails I can't remember. Myself and my buddy Phil decided to break off and try a couple of harder trails. At about 2PM Phil had a driveline failure. He completely blocked the trail and had me blocked into a hole called the Toilet Bowl. Had the choice of winching up a 20' vertical wall or walking back to the other Jeeps. Went back to camp and recruited Shane to assist moving Phil's Jeep. Between Shane's winch and mine over a 3 hour window we managed to winch him out and back to camp. After getting Phil back to the truck and trailers, I took my boys (9 and 11) to the swimming hole for being such good sports. I let each of my boys drive the Jeep over a couple of small rock out croppings as we headed back out to the trailer. Pretty much the day in a nut shell. Sorry, no pictures or videos as I stopped taking trail pictures years ago.

| Ya good meeting you duke. I might make it out to canyons and maybe have the chance to wheel with you. Sucks to hear about the breakage.
I had a good time out there though ran a ton of trails and even though none of em were extremely tough I still got on some crazy lines. I have some pictures I'll post up including some of your guys' group Duke.

Pretty much the day in a nut shell. Sorry, no pictures or videos as I stopped taking trail pictures years ago. Duke, was the "Phil" the English guy with the 4 door red JK? (Phil Day from Trail Duty) I know he heads to K2 on a regular basis. I haven't wheeled with him in a while. He's been quiet on the JKO as well.

Yes it was Phil Day that broke. Funny story - On Saturday my son (9) asked why the steering wheel in Phil's Jeep was on the wrong side. I asked what he was talking about and he said, "Phil is English and so his steering wheel is supposed to be on the other side." I had to explain to him that while Phil was English his Jeep was American.
