I'm beginning to get a little angry...

I ordered my tires from 4 Wheel parts on May 24th... They told me 3-4 ish weeks before delivery.. I'm STILL waiting. They keep telling me that they're waiting for Goodyear to manufacture them and that they wont know when even the approximate delivery date is until they get a shipping conf. from Goodyear...

Ordered 5 of the 305/70R16 OWL E Duratracs...

I'm beginning to wonder if I should just pick my new rims up on Tues, and try to order my tires from somewhere else...

That's ridiculous. Discounttiredirect.com has them in stock and will ship out next day. You will have them within 3-4 days. But that's 4WP for ya......

BTW, it's not 4Wheelparts fault. Goodyear only does so many in a production run, and when all is gone, it is gone.
Discount Tire might have them in stock, but I would call first to make sure. Don't believe what their website says.

Also, GY is making some changes to the MTR's, so that could be why most vendors are out of stock.

It's not uncommon for tire companies to be in back order. Some are in the process of re-tooling, others are redesigning, others Manufactor one type of tires at a time. Usually when they don't have them at one store, more than likely other companies will not have them either. You're not the only one looking for that size so they will be hard to find at this time.

I won't deal with 4Wheel after a bad tire/wheel experience there myself.

BAM, someone just hit the easy button.

my problem is I would need 5 and I also have ALREADY paid for them.. 4 Wheel Parts has my wheels, just no rubber.. I've started looking at maybe selecting a different tire...

I have been happy with ProComp. Bought 5 - have over 10K on them and no noticeable wear.

It came down to the Pro Comp and the Dick Cepeks... Ordered the Dick Cepek Mud Country... Shoe installation on the 1st.

I got 4, 35/12.5x15 M.T.baja claw TTC from TireBuyer.com for less than $1000 to my door in less than two days from order. That was a rediculous price since most places want @300 each plus tax and shipping. The next time y'all need tires check them out.

I think we all have bad experiences purchasing auto accessories online. I used to be so mad about it but I grow old I just let it go.
