Jeep Nation Beach Run Trip.

This is the Motel that rooms are reserved at. It is on the island this year. Rooms are 2 queen size beds and price is for check in on Aug. 10 and check out Aug 12. It does include taxes!!!

The rooms are saved under: Jeep Nation. I will get the email conformation when they are reserved.

Anyone planning to caravan to Port A Saturday? I'm leaving Friday but was going to post an invitation on Wrangler Forum for others to join us.

We are leaving friday as well, won't be until around 6:00. I have Mark, Manny and Aix following us out. I think Renee and Bobbby are also heading out Friday as well.

I am leaving on Saturday and if need be, could caravan to Port A.
I know we usually meet at the What-a-burger on 281/37 close to 1604 on the south side of San Antonio. It is exit 125.
If anyone wants to do that, let me know and I can meet you there. if not, I'll see them on the beach.

I want to leave from the What-A-Burger at 7am. So anyone else showing up, please have everything set to go by then. Including, gas, ice, breakfast, most importantly beer.

Usually we will have 10-15 rigs caravan down to the beach. I don't think there will be that many this time, but be prepared that What-A-Burger will be slower to serve breakfast. Just giving folks a heads up.

Just spoke with Renee, and her and Bobby will be meeting us at the What-A-Burger as well.

Posted an invitation on the Wrangler Forum for other Jeepers to join with us. Departure 7am from What-a-burger (I37 & 1604).

Will look for the other thread, but does anyone need or want a roomie to split the hotel bill? Wife and I can always use the generous nature of a buddy to use the shower, but may be nice to have a bed to sleep in as well...LOL

Who is going to be at the beach on Friday? and what time? I need to plan my solo caravan from Houston.

If all goes as planned, we will be rolling out around noon on friday from SA. Otherwise it will be around 6p if the wifey cant get out early or take the day off entirely.

I also plan on leaving Friday. My wife has already informed me we have to go to Charlotte Plummer's in Fulton to eat. Should arrive at the motel at 2ish.

Or it seems it may Sat am now, unless i can get her to miss her sister's bday party...LOL

I live 45 minutes from a beach but I told my wife the 4 hour drive will make the beer taste better. I plan to leave before noon on Friday so early afternoon I will be looking for Jeeps on the beach.

Wasn't able to make it out until about 5pm yesterday. Justin and I would have been out there sooner but we were fixing his CJ7. Still had a great time with the few still out there.

What a great trip! I love our anual trip to "drive to the beach and get drunk at the hotel" (aka Beach Run).

Ya I had a great time as well. Unfortunately I had to choose between holding sun screen to put on or holding a beer. Beer won but my shoulders lost.

It was great meeting new friends and seeing old friends.

Even though we only stayed for the day, we had a blast! It was great seeing everyone! Can't wait for next years beach pop and squat.
