When is it going to stop!!!

I'm talking about the "pussafacation" of America. When are we as a country going to get our balls back?

Now I don't wont to get too politcal on here (not that I really am anyways...lol) and there are numerous topics that I/we could bring up that just piss me off. But, I got a new one I learned of today (esp with the cost of gas continuing to go up)....

We as a country don't drill for oil around Florida or Calif and I'm sure others...why not, most likely due to those in that area not wanting the "eyesore." But guess what, China is now in the process of constructing a rig that will be put out somewhere around Cuba and then they plan to cross drill/drill at a slant and tap into the oil reserves around the Florida Keys!!!! Look it up.

WTF!?!? is all I can say. Now I don't think there is any other country I would rather live in, but I'm sick of this kind of crap. Oh and guess what, the Senate is also now at the sametime attempting to pass some kind of bill that addresses the "global warming" and carbon footprinting...basically going tax gas and other energy usages even more!

When is this shit gonna stop? When are we (as a people) going to get tired of being run over by the corupt those with money/in power and other countries? At the rate its going a revolt will be too late. Now I don't condone violence or anything of the sort. However, I do believe it will take a revolt of the American people (as a whole) to rid ourselves of the corrupt/misguided/etc and be able to at least try to turn this country back around.

RANT OFF.

Now I'm just going to sit back quietly w/my arms ready if there ever will be a call from the people to the people to take action.

BTW, for those that don't know me...I'm not a crazy nut case or anything (at least I don't think) and a pretty melow/laid back kinda guy. Just some things get to me.

Just googled it myself...maybe the worse part is I'm getting dates back from 2006!?!? Has then ben in the main stream media at all?

1. Because it runs against the grain of established political agendas.

2. While some politicians talk a big talk, they don't want it in their back yard. ie... the Kenedy's spouting off about wind power, but damn if you can erect a bunch of mills anywhere near Chappaquidick.

3. Last but not least, because tapping those fields would actually make sense, and we can't have that now can we.

Only through the masses...yes I agree. But through writing, no offense but I seriously question that one. (meaning its effectiveness)

Apparently it is old news. I also googled it, and most the articles are from 2006. The one you linked to is dated 6/2/2008, but the wording of the article is the same as the 2006 articles, and talks about them creating a deal with Fidel Castro (who obviously is no longer in the picture).

don't know much about any of this BUT..........I do know Years ago they drilled on our prop. up in the Hearn area and found OIL....as soon as they found it they capped it and started sending us a check every other year it's only a 900.00 Check.

The Lawyers say if they ever un-cap it we will be rich.......So I hope someday they do....before I'm old and Grey.......I sure could use some of that $$$$.
