| I thought I would start a build thread here and be the first one to so . This build will go alot slower than some others becuase I need to get the shop built first (Per my wife's orders). Right now I am gathering parts for the build. below are a few pics of what have and what I hope it will look like (Rough Photochop I know). 1985 CJ-10 Bought from the Air Force. It stated life as an Airplane Tug. Currently it has a Dead Front Dana44, a Dana70 rear with a locker in it and 4.88 gears, 2500# of steel welded over the rear axle for traction, and SD-33 Nissan Diesel for power, an NP198 all time low tcase case, a TF727 dodge motorhome Transmission, It is currently a 2wd and has a top speed of 15 mph. It also has a 85ish inche wheelbase. Build will consist of: 1. Strip the rear portion the frame 2. Cut the 2500# piece of steel off 3. pull the axles 4. pull the tcase 5. Install four link rear and 4.5" coils 6. Weld new brackets on rear axle and install (Waggy Dana44 with 3.73's and ARB) 7. Install Dana 44 front and 4" Leaf springs 8. Install NP208 hi/lo Tcase and new driveshafts 9. build a flatbed for it and inside cage I should get about 103" wheelbase out of it. There will be alot of fab work to do with the 4-link set up and will take the longest. I am little worried about the 34 inch tires and the 3.73's. I may have to go down to the low 3 area maybe a 3.54 or something numerically lower than that. I will run 50% Waste Vegtable oil in it. Here is what it looks now: And here is a rough chop of what I hope it will look like: | |

| Oh yeah, there are a ton of SD-33's running in full size Scouts. It is a 6 cyl. I hope to have the concrete on the shop poured in the next 3 weeks and built with in 2 months. I have been trying to put it up since Rita. I actually had one ordered and was suppose to be delivered 2 weeks after Rita came through. The slab was to be poured the same day that Rita passed. I lost 57 200+ year oaks. I hope to the shop ready to go by May and start on this at that time. I will probably just tinker one it and plan to wheel it with my Wife at Trees for Labor Day. Oh yeah, the Unlimited was originally built for her and yes, she wheels it on 5's. Her first 5 was Mighty Mouse at Trees Ranch. | |

| About 1.5 hours from Houston on the East Side. I am near Beaumont. We will have a few work days and I will post them up. When we have them it is more like a party and maybe a few of you can carpool over. | |
