| Geez are you guys really only getting 13 or so? What is the difference, is it the 4 door, bigger lift, bigger tires? Did you recalculated your mileage with the bigger tires? I travel 1.5 miles within the 1 mile marker range. | |

Did you recalculated your mileage with the bigger tires? I travel 1.5 miles within the 1 mile marker range. Hand calculated using a GPS. Thie biggest thing is the larger tires and the energy to move them. Unsprung weight, rolling resistance is the killer. | |

| The trip to/from my office is only 6 miles. However, in that distance there are 12 stop signs/lights Before the 35's I was only getting 13mpg due to the repeated stops/starts. After the 35's- I have no idea since my speedo/odometer are off so I have no real way to calculate it. But I'm sure it is so bad that I'm better off not knowing- ignorance is bliss LOL | |

| It's really amazing all the differences in gas mileage, I would have thought we were all a little closer, we all have mods just some are 4 doors, but I guess the type of mods, tires, lifts ect. make the difference. I travel 6 miles to work and have 7 lights to go through, I didn't think about wind. | |

| Makes you wanna put that crappy plastic wind deflector/skid plate back on. If I do, I bet I`ll get somewhere in the neighborhood of 22-24 mpg | |

| yeah, with gas prices rising so fast almost makes me wanna rethink the extra weight i've added to the jeep (wheels, skid plates, bumper, winch, tire carrier, etc). then added wind resistance from the lift, added rolling resistance from the bigger tires.... where does it end? | |

| Hmm. Right now the average mpg thingamajigger says "12.3" - that's only for about, umm, 700 miles though. Includes 300 miles of driving on highways (two trips to SLP and back, and one trip up Bolivar) rest is inside the city.
Oddly enough, before I ripped that rear fender flare off - I was getting 13.6 MPG. Of course, one of those trips to SLP had my doors off, and my freedom tops have only been on for about 3 days in that time... =)
