the river

what time do they stop letting people go down the river??? a few girls and myself are going tuesday after we gett off work and staying the night up there and depending on what time we get there with taffic and all, we want to go down the river for a lil while. thats y i ask when they stop letting people go down?

We use to go every year as a family and the tradition has always been to do a midnight run. then come back and take a shot of tequia to warm up. nobody ever on the river with us. bring flashlights! btw you only THOUGHT the water was cold during the daytime!! we always stayed at whitewater sports. han't been back in several years. the river makes a horseshoe so that's what we would run. bout a 45min-1hr long run.
have fun and watch for snakes at night!!

they did for us. we did it every year up until maybe 4 years ago. don't know if they didn't care or what but we did it.

lol they're all 20-23....im sure we'll take plenty of pics if we get to make it to the river, we're mainly going cuz we're going to schillterbaun, we're going to the river if we have time

It really doesnt matter at any river what time you show up but it just takes some looking around for the cheap or free ones

k cuz we're gonna make it up there like aroud 7 and they wanted to know like what time they closed it down but if u can go down like anytime thats cool

9 in the morning is fine we all have to work in the morning, we're not going to be able to leave til after 4 in the afternoon

Don't the tube rentals/drop offs stop rentals at 6pm? I know they used to so they could have their tubes out of the water before dark. Used to be if you wanted to do the river after 6, you had to have your own tube or raft.

yea we alwas had our own, plus we never took any of the shuttles. we always had someone park their truck down river somewhere early in the morning.

Oh well if y'all are tubing then yea you need to be at the river signed up before 6 but if your just swimming and fucking around then it don't matter

they just want to go out there for a few hours before we go to sleep that night

yeah the only way you can go at night is if you bring your own tube at least thats what my nephew told me
