| AEV (american expedition vehicles) does the swap and they have a system where everything works like factory. I know Dave (the owner) and I have been to their shop many times. They do great work and if anyone hasn't looked at their web sight they should, lots of cool stuff... | |

| That's what I've heard, and even if they are cheap, scrap metal and a welder fixes that | |

Are you positive? But even if so, the motor mounts are probably the cheapest piece of the puzzle

| Last week on Extreme 4x4 they put a hemi in a TJ... They brought up some things that are required in order to be street-able. One of those things is that the donor engine must be the same year or newer as the vehicle it is going in to. So to be street-able in a JK, the engine would need to be an '07 or '08 (depending on which year JK you have). The listing does not say what year the engine is though.
Additionally, you would need a mount kit, a tranny, wiring harness, new computer (with a VIN number programmed in that matches your Jeep's VIN), custom exhaust, all the necessary emissions... etc etc etc... I would bet you're looking at another $10k in parts, and a ton of labor.
