| =( Unfortunately, I have to do the "dropping out at the last minute" bit. I've been put on-call on Saturday to assist a customer, so going out of town could land me in hot water.

Jeep’s still filthy from last time plus all the rain anyway. I hear ya... But I've been stuck with the post-mud clean up one too many times already. I just dread that to the point of not wanting to get into it. There was one occasion that I actually had to shovel off my driveway after cleaning the Jeep.

I need a fix BAD! But with all the rain we've been getting this week, I don't think I'll be able to get a fix at Spring Creek this weekend. Playing in mud is not going to give me the fix I need

It seems like a handful from jk-forum are going. I'm still planning on it, although all of this rain has got me a bit itchy about it. Lots of mud, hmm. Ahh well, I already said I was going to them... heh.
!c That place seems to dry out pretty well. Even with lots of rain there are only a few trails that get nasty. G and I went back in January, we camped out there for 4 days it rained every day that we were there and G never got a drop of mud on his Jeep. I on the other hand hit every nasty hole I could find. (and I mean find......I had a tough time finding mud)

| sadly, I might have to cancel out too My job- I produce advertising for concert tours. In the past week I've gotten 10 new tours to work on. Most of them are pretty simple stuff that I do every day and requires very little effort. BUT, Metallica announced this week, and I'm in charge of that. I've handled all their tours in the past, and their advertising is never "simple". And this tour is no different- 3 different opening act lineups, combined with the fact that they need 3 different types of ads created- so 9 different ads for each format (TV, radio & print)- that's a lot of ads to work on. And of course their ads are not a simple thing. Then yesterday I talked with a major agent that informed me of 2 more "major" acts that will be announcing tours soon that I'll be handling. Good for business, bad for taking time off. It's looking like I will need to stay home. And since Alto is 175 miles from Sugar Land, it's really not worthwhile to drive up Saturday only. | |

| I'm definitely going, and definitely camping. I'll probably have one more coming with me, a co-worker with a stock LJ Rubi.
Its about 75 miles from Houston, right? So will probably leave by 7:30am. (Saturday, can't get that Friday off.)

We are staying at motel in Rusk
JKdrone- my bets are that he'll camp (seems to be SOP for him) When are you leaving?
