| First thing- check the fuse. 2nd thing- probably the wire came lose- you'll have to get that panel off and see.
That being said- you have 2 outlets. Do you need both? | |

| Put a cigarete lighter in the switched outlet on left side of panel. Worked for a while then blew the fuse. Changed fuse. Worked once and blew fuse again.
I am thinking about changing 20 amp with 30 amp fuse. Anybody else done this. I know circuits are made for certain amp draw but 10 amps shouldn't make a big difference. If there is a real short it should blow the 30 amp fuse before doing any damage. Or am I way off?
Any input on this? | |

| Depends if that fuse is intended solely for the outlet. A lot of fuses(now a days) handle multiple things, and you run the risk of shorting them out also. Most lighters work off of a power wire and negative wire, you might be able to find a cheap replacement designed for that purpose. | |

| It's a 10A, IIRC. Once your cig lighter blows it, it will likely continue blowing it. Go down to autozone and buy another $5 one, and a pack of fuses. =)
