| picked up a set last week and i have nothing bad to say about them. they are well engineered and have a tough bedliner type coating. very reasonable cost, coupled with their new 6" lights it's still less than the mopar alternatives. i really have to look hard to see the lights from inside the cab. overall i'm very pleased. here are some pics: | |

| I found my shovel and dug up this old thread. Do you have to bend or rotate the antenna with these light brackets, or is it optional? | |

| Yup, I bent it on the green one. But when I did it again I ordered a shorty antenna for the black one. | |

Do you have to bend or rotate the antenna with these light brackets, or is it optional? Well...you can bend it, or get the shorter one, I opted for rotating the antenna back so it aligns with the windshield post. It's really not that hard to do, you just need to remove the antenna (has a circular aluminum base with 3 holes in it for the screws)...all you need to do is rotate the antenna to where you want it to be, then mark the new hole positions with a sharpie marker - and drill out the 3 new holes. There's a notch on that 'tenna base...you will have to notch the jeep body so the 'tenna base sits into place. here's a pic of my setup with the RockRash lights/brackets Here's a 3M clip I use to keep the antenna from smacking the Jeep when it's windy

Didn't know there was such a thing. I searched and found some. They are not too expensive either. Do you think the signal is weaker with the shorter antenna? I plan to get some of these light mounts eventually. But I don't think I could mount a candle to them without it getting blown out. I should wait until I can afford to get lights too.

I have a shorty antenna... FM reception did not change, AM reception is weaker.
